- Essential with 24/7 monitoring costs a little less than a typical 3-year monitored setup, and less every year after that, because our monitoring is about $30 a month instead of $40 to $80.
- Without a monitoring plan, the package price is the whole cost. Your cameras and alarm still alert your phone.
- Complete and Premium include smart home devices that traditional companies usually don't install, such as smart lighting, garage control, a smart thermostat and, in Premium, a smart lock and mesh Wi-Fi.
- Camera Starter ($499) covers two outdoor cameras and a video doorbell, for less than a typical 4-camera system that records to a box in the house ($600 to $1,600 installed). Live view and alerts are free with ours, and saving video history needs a plan on most cameras, from a few dollars a month. Need more cameras? We can add them to your quote.
- For home insurance, many traditional plans use ULC-listed monitoring stations. Our 24/7 monitoring isn't ULC-listed, but it gives you a monitoring certificate you can send to your insurer.
How we worked this out: traditional figures use typical prices published by GTA alarm and camera companies in 2026, which are $40 to $80 a month for monitoring on a 3-year contract, $0 to $199 to install the alarm, and $600 to $2,900 for a recorded camera system with 4 to 8 cameras. Monthly prices often rise after the first contract. Our figures use the package price plus about $30 a month for 24/7 monitoring. All prices are before HST, and your quote may differ.

Every install includes a 1-year warranty on the equipment, which we handle with the manufacturer for you, and a 1-year warranty on our labour. Premium packages add a second year of labour.

A few cameras, a smart lock or a doorbell can usually be done in a single visit. A full package covering the whole home may take a day or two. We'll give you a realistic timeline before we start.
