Privacy Policy

True Guard Home Tech installs home security and smart home systems across the Greater Toronto Area. This page explains what personal information we collect through trueguardhometech.ca, what we do with it, who helps us handle it, and how you can ask us to see or delete it.

What we collect

• When you fill in a form: your name, phone number, email, address or area, the service you're interested in, and anything you write in the message box. The special offer form also asks for the best time to call you.
• When you browse the site: Google Analytics records general visit information, such as the pages you view, your approximate location (city level), your device and browser, and how you found the site. It uses cookies to do this. It doesn't give us your name or contact details.
• When you call, email or message us on WhatsApp or social media: whatever you choose to share in that conversation.

Why we use it

• To reply to your request, give you a quote and book your installation.
• To support you after the install, including warranty work.
• To see which pages are useful and improve the site (visit statistics only).

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for anything unrelated to your request. We don't send marketing emails.

Who helps us handle it

• FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) delivers the forms on this site to our email inbox.
• Google Analytics (Google) measures visits to the site.
• WhatsApp (Meta), only if you choose to message us there.

These services may store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it can be subject to the laws of that country. Each one has its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep your details only as long as we need them to answer you, complete your installation and support your warranty. After that, we delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.

Cookies

Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out add-on. The site works the same without them.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@trueguardhometech.ca and we'll take care of it promptly, within 30 days at most.
