It can. Many insurers offer a discount for a monitored alarm, and with professional monitoring you can get a monitoring certificate to send to your insurer. Discounts vary, so it's worth checking with yours.
Your alarm keeps working in the house, and the built-in battery covers power cuts. Cameras that plug into power pause during a power cut unless they're battery or solar models. With cellular backup, which you can add to any package, alerts still reach your phone. Premium also keeps your WiFi running on backup power. The exact backup features depend on the brand you choose, so contact us for details.
Yes. Ring and Alexa are both made by Amazon, so you can see your cameras on an Echo Show, hear a chime when someone rings the doorbell and arm your alarm by voice. ecobee thermostats and eero WiFi work with Alexa too. We set it all up during installation.
